Hello,
Can the keyboard shortcut for switching between tabs be changed? I have a Toshiba Tablet PC which uses Ctrl+Alt+LeftArrow and Ctrl+Alt+RightArrow for rotating the screen. I can't find a way to turn this off and am looking for another way to switch between tabs from the keyboard.
Thanks.

cdailey, it seems you have Intel GMA (Graphic Media Accelerator) driver, where these shortcuts are enabled by default.
Follow this procedure:
1. In Control Panel, click on Intel GMA Driver.
2. A window pops up. Select the Hot keys tab in it.
3. There is a Enable hotkeys checkbox. Uncheck it.
4. Press the OK button.
5. Enjoy the x2 shortcuts.
If you don't have the Intel chipset, you would have an equivalent controls somewhere in your Control Panel. Try that.

Wow - 3 great replies before I thought I'd get any!
I turned off the Intel hot keys and switching between tabs from the keyboard works. I kept looking through all the extra software Toshiba installs. I didn't think to look at the Intel graphics options in the control panel.
I heavily use Autohotkey to remap x2 shortcuts and do many other things. Autohotkey and x2 are the 2 best things on my PC.
I know enough to know I don't know enough to hack applications...
Thanks everyone.

Hi Nikos,
Please consider augmenting the keyboard shortcuts for switching between tabs, either to jump to the left-most tab or to a tab by it's position in the series of tabs. Ctrl+Alt+LeftArrow and Ctrl+Alt+RightArrow provide for relative movement between tabs.
I like to have several tabs open then switch to any of these with a unique keyboard shortcut. One can do this in a single tab via bookmarks but this has 2 (albeit small) disadvantages: the directory is re-read (which can be slow for big directories) and the column fields, sort order & widths are not remembered per directory.
I'm not sure if there is enough keyboard shortcuts left to uniquely address each tab and there can be an arbitrary number of tabs. If there was a keyboard shortcut to jump to the left-most tab, I would use Autohotkey to fire a sequence of keys to jump to the left-most tab then cycle left or right to the desired tab from a single keyboard shortcut.
Thanks again!
