try your windows explorer. If you can't see thumbs there either something has messed your thumbnails, could be anything!

Hi
on win 98 there are no thumbs thats why I started using xplorer infirst place
unless i am mistaken .The links in forum about thumbs i have tried with no avail so I assume this is because win 98 does not have that facility. However as i have found other apps like thumbs plus and irfanview show thumbs ok.
Is it not some clue that i cant over install ? would uninstall then try install help or will i just get back to where i am ?
Thanks for your time and replies to me .

if you see the "Minimum requirements" table in the quickstart guide, you'll see thumbnails require win98 with active desktop update, which would enable them in your explorer too
