My "Other" is SFTP integration. I don't need anything else.

This was a step ahead at least... :)
I get really irritated (and I did try to get used to this), when the addressbox becomes an inputfield for commands or searches or filters. That's why I'd really appreciate a seperate textbox in a toolbar.

One "other": If remote folders are difficult to load, skip them and move on to the next (especially when loading multiple tabs with such remote folders or when loading tree with neighborhood PCs.)

My wish list it is;

1. Robust transfer always
2. Robust delete
3. Skip difficult to load folders (perhaps a user configured timeout)
4. All options put into GUI instead of medling in registry

Toolbar customization :)

I would realy like to have some better looking icons...

I mean, even IrfanView (4.0) now has some very nice icons:

I voted for Keyboard Customization.
snakebyte wrote:It'll attract more new users to Xplorer2 who are afraid of adjusting or learning new keyboard shortcuts of xplorer2.
I agree with snakebyte; Nikos, I think of all the features on the list, this one will give you the most "bang for your buck" (or euro).
fgagnon wrote:I would suggest that there should be (at least) two standard keyboard mappings distributed with the product: one the classic COMMANDER heritage flavor; the other a WINDOZE defacto standard flavor with F4 F5 F6 for repeat last action, refresh, etc.
This is an excellent idea.

If I had a second vote, I'd cast it for Quick Find.

And a third vote would go to Robust Delete (with always on Robust Transfer).

I voted for Other - Robust Transfer on same partition.

A close second was keyboard customization, but AutoHotKey can be used to alleviate this deficiency to some extent.

I would prefer to see a dedicated toolbar which shows the bookmarks (much like in Internet/Windows Explorer & FireFox). It can't be hard and it would make the bookmarking system in x2 sooo much more useful.

I don't mind much about keyboard customization, I'm perfectly happy with the shortcuts as they are now. But I actually agree with people like fgagnon, longfellow and snakebyte: It would make a difference for many users who got stuck a bit to their habits inherited from Windows explorer.
My vote was more a strategical move: Auto-updating searches. But the real thing for me would be 'other', namely portability. I'm afraid that part is a bit out of focus. Maybe, Nikos, if we get to arrange girlfriend to do a complete round of family visits, would that free up the time you need for a portable xplorer2 ?
