Keep certain view for certain folders?

Keep certain view for certain folders?

Is it possible to set a certain view to a folder. For instance have the Control Panel always with large icons and a "detailed"view for the other folders?

you can do that for most folders, using Actions | Folder settings menu. But control panel is one of those "funny" folders where this won't work
