Hi Nikos,

2x is great piece of software and it's easy top figure out, my favorite file manager. However, I've got some problems:

1. it doesn't display bigger JPEG files; I tried it with files ca. 2MB of size and ThumbBar remains empty

2. It doesn't display files different than GIF, JPEG and BMP (maybe others which I don't know). I'd love to see support for at least TIFF files.
3, I don't know how to delete a bookmarked directory.

It may look I'm dumb but this EZ forum has no searching feature and help file didn't help at all. If this General forum is wrong place to submit such questions, I'll repost the topic in the Support area.

Best regards,

checkout nMaxFileSizeThumb in registry.txt. The default limit is 1MB. About the TIFF files i don't know since i never use them. But if you can see them in explorer, you can preview them in 2x too. FAQ#17 mentions an MSDN article that you may find useful

>how to delete a bookmarked directory

i take it you mean how to delete the bookmark, not the directory itself. You can't "delete" it but you can overwrite it at any time with another bookmark, hitting [Ctrl+Shift+NUMBER0-5], as the status bar text indicates

>EZ forum has no searching feature

you'll find a search button near the top of the page!

thanks,  gotta go to the doctors ;) I don't know how I could miss this Search button

I meant deleting a bookmark, of course. I don't want to override it with a new one, just want to delete the assignment.

Thank you for the tip regarding the file size.

Keep up good work!

um, i didn't think that deleting outright would be something users would want to do, that's why there's no option for it. If you really want to do it, quit 2x and find the Bookmarks key under 2x's main registry key and edit out all the entries you don't want
