quickview pane: disable media player, just show file data ?

When I click on a media file (mp3, wav) media player fills the quickview plane.
Is it possible to disable this action and just show some file or header data?

Or perhaps let it depend on the type of file?

tools > options > window > view, clear the option "start playing media files immediately"

I have this option cleared, but the player stills shows up...

that's the best you can do, you can't have it disabled completely
another option would be to right click on the quick viewer, and tick "text preview only", but then you'll miss image preview too!

Ok, it is as it is.

I remember that a long time ago it was possible, but I don't remember how.
Probably that was with 2xExplorer.
