Portable Version is needed.
I am used to using the software, xplorer2 for many years. Thanks to the software, it supplies huge convenience and efficiency for me. But there is a problem, I have to reset setup after installing operation system. Thus, I want to propose designing a portable version is needed. Thanks.

there already is a portable version, see www.zabkat.com/x2port.htm
however, from what you describe, you only need to save your xplorer2 settings so as to restore them later, after you reinstall windows. For that, use Actions > Export settings, then keep the created REG file in a safe place. If you ever need to restore them, just double click on this file while xplorer2 is not running
