Double trees

Post by billou31 »

Currenty xplorer2 only has 1 tree view, even in dual pane mode.

Would it be possible to have two trees, one for each pane?

So it will be pro only? Seems like a rather basic feature!

Not yet.
But as nikos indicated: " ... some tree developments are planned for the pro version for the near future."
Even so, note that he did not say exactly what developments, nor did he promise two trees.

Dual trees, one for each pane when in dual pane mode.  This feature alone, would justify upgrading to the Pro version.

Ah yes.... I can guess where this request is coming from  :)  I have been using Novatix Explorer Plus and then Powerdesk over many many years and unfortunately became very accustomed to the "two trees" view. I'm slowly working my way through the single tree view in the registered version but I would name my next child after you if you could provide the two tree feature in a future relase. :o

Yep, you're right, PowerDesk.   And, even though I've been using X2 now for over 8 months, and the Pro version at that, I still crave dual trees.

It took me over ten years to get over cigarettes.  I hope Nikos won't let me suffer that long this time.
