Is this a bug of the breadcrumbs?

Post by Wepver »

Hello,
When I try to go to the root of a logical unit using breadcrumbs it reach me to the latest visited folder of that unit. (I have the “Breadcrumb menu pops up complete folder hierarchy” option checked)

Not really a bug, but a known limitation of the existing design. :(

The workaround is to r-click on the little « chevron at left of the drive letter.  That will get you a pull-down menu of all logical drive roots. 8)

Thanks for your answer.
But what I was trying to say is that when I r-click on the << to reach the root of C, it reach me to the latest visited folder of that unit and not to its root (C:\). It happens the same with all the logical units.
So I do not know if this is a feature or a bug. You always can go easily to the root by clicking the Drive icon.

Maybe I am misunderstanding, but I can't confirm this bug with Vista.

After Wepver explained it more clearly, I can confirm it in XP.
