xplorer lite tag

is there any way to tag files in xplorer lite? i dont see any tagging feature for xplorer in general, or i maybe wrong?

you can set comments with alt+Z not sure what you mean with tagging

thanks nikos for the reply, yes, ive been using comments to tag files, im looking for something like in mac, where you can see the tag files per group. i.e. let say i have a group docs, in the folder im looking at has several files(docs,mp3, pdf, txt), if im looking for docs only, i would only click on the docs tag group, and it will automatically hide other formats.

i've seen tags like that implemented in windows vista but xplorer2 isn't integrated yet

can i request for this feature? ive also seen this in vista and trying to find something similar for xp. thanks,

edit, btw, have you heard about zotero for firefox? try to check that out, it has tag feature.

how does this work? Setting tags is easy, retrieving the files given a tag is the hard bit, if you want it instantaneously

im not pretty sure how to program this, if its hard to retrieve files in a tag instantly, is highlighting the tagged files possible?

that's easy, the professional version can already hilight files based on rules, that can include comments see www.zabkat.com/blog/14Oct07.htm
