When initial directory is not available (like when transfer reg file to another system) it locks xplorer2 for a long time before giving an error.
Then when reopened it has the error again of course, because it doesn't save settings unless you tell it to. I think it shouldn't, maybe it a prompt to save current valid dirs if opened with bad ones would be the answer. Even better to save settings on exit always, even better, save often.
I know how to get around this and don't need help.
