Large TrueCrypt containers crash xplorer² Lite 1.7.0.5

Post by blacky2 »

Hi,

I created a dynamic TrueCrypt container with 100 GB maximum size. The system will detect its size as 100 GB, but the size on the hard disk is smaller. If I open the folder which contains this container file, xplorer² Lite 1.7.0.5 will crash. (If I am lucky and fast double click a subfolder, it won't crash.)

TrueCrypt (latest version) isn't running.

i don't know this truecrypt. Try to see if it makes any difference switching to list or small icons view mode. Can you get me a dr watson crash log as described here? www.zabkat.com/x2cs_bug.htm

Hi,

unfortunately xplorer² lite simply closes the window without showing Dr Watson.
It only happens in the list view (where I have a column showing the file size).

You can find  TrueCrypt here.

No, the crash log hasn't been updated. And yes, changing the view is a temporary workaround.

I'm running Windows XP and still tried Method 1, nothing changed.

Tried it again with the current pro trial version (1.7.2.2) and the free version (1.7.1.4): None of these write a crash report to %TEMP%, xplorer2 simply closes itself.
