Icon problems

I spent hours last night setting up my folder icons exactly how I want them ( using Tune Up). I have rebuilt the icon cache about 10 times.

PROBLEM;-

using Alt + F1 in Xplorer2 Lite, the drives all have the new icons, so do the folders that I changed--the Tree view just has standard windows icons. The twin view shows only yellow standard icons--Windows Explorer shows all my nice coloured icons perfectly--how can I "force" Xplorer2 Lite to do what Explorer does please? This is driving me crazy!

i think the lite version doesn't do the custom icons, did you try the professional version?

No but I tried 10 different registry tweaks, 6 script files (ready made) and deleting the windows cache as well as making it larger twice---I am now looking for a "white flag" icon--LOL

Seriously though, I always, set up my box to have different download folders in My Docs each classification with a different colour, and a quick flash into Xplorer2 lite from the web sites is so much easier when I can colour them--the annoying thing is that if I use the (steam-driven) Windows explorer, all my pretty icons are there, and I thought that --for the last 76 years, at least-- Xplorer2 mimicked the Windows explorer. Ah well---sigh.
