I'm not the person that bashes Microsoft all day long. Indeed I often defend Microsoft in discussions. ;) Ask Nikos how I came to the job as German translator for xplorer². *g*

Do you have such videos about Aero drag images? Or list view footers? Or grouped virtual list views? And what about the IShellItemResources interface? Documentation for the last one is so thin that so far I even could not find anyone who has a clue what this interface is used for.
Maybe documentation of shell libraries and jump lists is not that bad (I did not yet try to implement either of them). But I know many things with non-existing or near-to non-existing documentation. What about those?

Oh, I would be really surprised if it would be different from Vista where Microsoft did not improve the docs, but just remove the disclaimer.

Tiku,
I agree that not all Windows APIs and features are documented well. I was in particular replying to following statement made by Nikos
nikos wrote: i share timo's feelings about the quality of documentation for new features.
New Win7 shell features like jump lists, aero peek/preview, libraries have been well documented. Just because MS did not do a good job in documenting few features/APIs, generalizing the fact that MS does bad documentation is wrong in my opinion.
Help! I'm an AI running around in someone's universe simulator.
