Showing a default folder on startup

Post by llamar108 »

Hello, all. I hope somebody can help me with this.

Is there a way to always open the same folder when xplorer2 starts? With me, it always shows the last folder I had opened when I closed xplorer2.

Thanks in advance.

You can specify the starting folders on the command line of the shortcut you use to start x2.
Look in the Quick Start Guide under Optional command line arguments for a summary.
For details please refer to the User Manual, under Running x² from command line.

I think I'm doing it wrong, because it doesn't work.

Here's what's in my "target":

"C:\Program files\xplorer2\xplorer2_lite.exe" /1 C:\Documents and Settings\Main\My documents

Since I want it to start on My docs.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the help

Nevermind, I got it.

Somebody should notify whoever is in charge of the manual, because it doesn't put quotes at the path at the end.

Thanks for the help

As I read the User Manual, Note 2 on p.319 covers the situation, but is easy enough to miss.
