xplorer2_lite.exe *32 stays in Windows Task Manager

Hi, when I close xplorer2 lite the process stays in the task manager, which "locks" onto my thumb drive(s) which doesn't allow me to correctly unplug my drives. I can kill the process in task manager to overcome this... I wonder why xplorer2 lite does not automatically close from the task manager?

Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 x64

the locking problem in this situation is corrected for v1.8
to make sure you quit xplorer2 use <Alt+X>
