x2 cannot find hosts file in vista 64?

I was trying to update the hosts file, and x2 could not find the file or even the directory,

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

Any thoughts why? Agent Ransack could not find this path either.

i suppose it is because x2 lite is 32 bit and cannot see the real 64 bit filesystem folders. Try the 64 bit professional version which is free to evaluate:
