But be aware of false positives. Some things (like Keygens  :lol: ) are regularly detected as Trojans or something.

Hashtab is a very useful shell extension, but the author forces you to accept a very unorthodox and controversial license agreement before it will install !

he is obviously out for a giggle on this :)
his website is also flagged red by siteadvisor but only because of an outgoing link, it won my confidence despite this

HashCheck is far, far better than HashTab.

i stumbled on this from the virustotal guys themselves, virustotal updater
http://www.virustotal.com/metodos.html
context menu extension that checks the hash first then uploads if necessary
