<F1> autocompletion. Could one re-bind this function to <F9>? I use a command-line shell that binds autocompletion to <F9>, so I'm used to hitting that key. Can you add <shift F1> with re-binding to cycle back in the list of autocompletion matches?

COLUMNS. Is there a way to modify the scheme for all folders at once?

Scrap panes. Can I use them to collect the names of several files that I want to delete from different folders? Currently, when I hit <DEL> the links to the files get removed from the scrap, not the file themselves.

in x2 F9 is used for synchronization
unfortunately you couldn't change F1 even with resource hacker

i'm not sure what you mean with <shift+F1> re-binding
if the first completion is not what you were after you can hit <F1> again for the next match. Your seed can also include wildcards */?

the columns apply for all folders of the same class. Typically you'd have to set columns once for regular folders and once for zipfolders and then you wouldn't have to worry about them again (but each view has its own column settings so you'd have to do this for each pane, left/right/scrap etc). If this sounds too laborious you can set the columns for one pane and then quit x2 and do some registry hacking to copy the same data for all other views. But keep in mind that you have the flexibility to have one set of columns in one view and a completely different one for the other

scrap panes do have a "real" delete command, see the Files menu or context menu

OK, forget about rebinding keys, if it can't be done. What I meant by <shift+F1> is to go back to the previous match.

that's a good idea!
<shift+F1> would be useful if you went one too far with F1 and you want to go back without having to cycle all the way to the end and then from the start
i'll throw it in
