Before you know they sleep so long, that you see your kids only in the afternoon 8) But that will take, say 15 years......

 Put that rocking chair of yours to good use! Cradle her and rock the chair while you play mp3 lullabies in gapless mode.

Sub: Thy customer complaint No. 9.99e307346750912

We are in receipt of thy complaint that the infant delivered by Us wakes thee up every two hours.

Please note that this is a FEATURE and not a bug.

The dear child needs to grow fast and join Zabkat ASAP. Thence she will need nourishment and cleaning up frequently.

Do thy job and thou shalt get the reward.

P.S. We do know thou have used this same sentence unto others, so now thou shalt know how they feel!

P.P.S. We have forgotten the real old English (or did We speak Hebrew? or Greek maybe?) Anyway, if thou want the REALLY expanded Ye olde English version, consult Our representative Kilmastead.

We bless all!

Without knowing if she's a Unicode baby, or, indeed, x86, x64, or x128, mine own poor language skills would be lacking a certain triumphant metaphor for his occasion.  My own dark take on the subject matter is best seen here - were I to really stretch my wings, Nikos would never let her out of his sight, after barring me for a trembling insubordination.

Besides, I'm not certain I can beat your own piquant humour :D:

On second thought, let it not be entrusted to Our representative Kilmastaed (he seems to have mixed up the subjects of fatherhood and IRA.)

Our Greek representative would be busy burning a bus, in protest of something or the other.

So thou art pretty much on thy own.

P.S. A Father-to-father tip: Do not let any child near a bishop. Even the Pope is having a tough time getting them out of the habit (and into their own habits).

Note to the Divine Self: Really must revamp Our customer-support system!

dear almighty

this is the third millenium and you have to leave behind the donkeys and all that. Please revise the user interface, instead of generic cries/sounds provide led warning lights as such:

red: milk
brown: pooped me pants
green: system normal

also a ctrl+alt+delete equivalent for when all else fails

thank you for your divine consideration ;)

Dear Nikos,

The cries are REALLY a feature: The human brain is hard-wired NOT to ignore the baby's cries, AND to react in a nurturing way.

On the other hand, if We provided LEDs, you'd probably put duct tape on them!

Recently BBC reported a scientific study, where it was found that some cats are able to mimic the baby's cry; and they are able to extract food whenever they want from their owners, without getting a kick in the ribs.

So have faith in Our infinite wisdom and don't even think about shirking thy parental duties!
