Almost every time I click on a mov file explorer encounters a problem and needs to close. This is only with the quick viewer enabled.
Sometimes it does play it in the quickviewer.
xplorer2 has encountered a problem and needs to close

Nearly certain that this is caused by an incompatible shell extension.

I think I've figured it out. I recently installed new software for my canon camera that included a proprietary codec for mov files. I uninstalled that and everything seems to be working fine.nikos wrote:or it could be a faulty ffdshow codec, see what the error message says and if WMP can play these files
