How do I navigate the tabs with the keyboard?

Post by OM2 »

I can't see anyway of going through the tabs with the keyboard

It would be great if we could just press CTRL + tab i.e. similar to browsers

Would the professional version have the ability to assign this key combination for going through tabs?

Thanks

CTRL+ALT+<LeftArrow/RightArrow>

(Ref:   User Manual in Chapter 4 - Basic Operations with x², Tab Bar, Selecting a tab.)

aaah... i think i just dived in and didn't read the manual :)
i still say they should have CTRL + tab for moving between tabs

ctrl + alt + arrow seems very alien

having said that, there are other things that annoy me - like closing tabs with ctrl + f4
why can't it be ctrl + w - this is the way it is with most other windows programs?

thanks

Never mind that Refresh is Ctrl-R instead of F5... but, indeed, these can all be customised in the Pro version, thankfully.

At 381 pages, the manual is a novel unto itself.  Worth reading, to be sure, but not in a weekend...
