Thanks for adding the ability to delete folders in the folders pane using a Delete key.
But I can do it only if I am fast as a lightning If x2 shows the contents of the folder in the files pane, I can not delete it using the Delete key on my keyboard (old locking blues).
As I said earlier, I have LOTS of folders, I would like to make sure I am deleting the right one by checking its contents in the files pane before I delete it
There seems to be small time opening in the x2 where it would allow some things it does not othervise.
This time frame is about 0,8 seconds (on my computer) after I get the cursor to the folder in the folder pane. This is the same time it takes x2 to show contents of the folder selected in the folders pane.
Examples:
1. pressing Del key when I am on a folder in a Folders pane. If I do it fast enough after I have moved the cursor to that folder, I can delete it.
2. active folders pane: press the letter corresponding to the some other folder so the cursor is moved to that other folder. Immediatelly, press Tab to swtich to the files pane. Well, you will stil have old folder's files shown in the files pane, although in the folders pane new folder is clearly marked as active. Very dangeorus bug if you are not avare of it!
the "active" folder in the tree is not necessarily the same as the folder browsed in a view. How's that dangerous?
wrt the time window of deletion opportunity, it is all about timeouts. x2 waits a bit till it browses a folder (there's a registry setting). There's another alternative if you don't want to race around with yourself: pressing [Alt+up/down] will allow you to browse the tree without risking any locking, since x2 won't open any folder untill you release the [Alt] key

Let's say I have copies of two files (not necessaryils the same) in two folders. I decide to switch to the other folder and delete the first file. If I am quick enough, I will delete the file from the first folder although I can see in the folders pane I have changed folders.
At least it is annoying. Every time I do this, I must press Tab again, wait for the file list to update and then press Tab again.
I can not see any possible benefit from it. I use keyboard so I can work fast, not to get annoyed often

Yes, I remember. But this does not solve my needs since I need the opposite efect. I want to see the files from the folder marked as active and I want to be able to delete folder in the folders pane using my Del key.
