flv videos

How do i convert flv videos to mpg so i can save it and play it on windows media player? i downloaded youtube videos but its in flv format. my dad is erasing my account so i want to store it onto my usb drive. but because its in flv format it wont play on windows media player. i want to change it to mpg so that it could play in any computer even though there is no flv player. where can i go to convert it and still gave good quality after it is converted? something free and quick? thanks!

because I did and here's the result:

Either way, I recommend you leave the files alone in their original format and get a free player which supports .flv playback (winamp, bsplayer, vlc, etc.)

Also check the other thread you posted in VLC Media Player gave me thumbs for FLV files - yippee
