Make copy/cut not copy text color information?

May I suggest to make copy/cut to not copy text color information?

Example:
I have editor2 background color set to black and font set to light gray. But when I copy text and paste it into a rich text app, the text color gets carried along. Can this be fixed so only plain text is copied from editor2?

no but target editors usually offer the option to paste only text without formatting
