Width of "hover selection"?

Post by ZoNi »

When I hover some short-name file, it will be selected like longest file name in that folder.

Can I somehow force x2 to make selection to be as wide as filename?

This is so boring thing :( I accidentally click on a file/folder many time, since now very often full windows is "clickable" :(

No, still no success :(

But I see that in FreeCommander XE this works better (imho) than in x2:

I will try that when at home.

Any downside of this solution? What will I lose if I do that?

Disabling Vista effects solves this "problem" :)

I will see later if that have some side effects (tnx, Kilmatead!).
