Now your tool has become so complete that the more exotic wishes are arriving
When I edit a command in the addressbar the use of the Ctrl keys has no effect. Normally you'd expect the combination Ctrl-Left to skip a word to the left and the same in the opposite direction for Ctrl-Right. Of course, the combination with Shift (so Ctrl-Shift-Left for instance) should also be able to select text word by word.
It would mean more sugar on the cake if You'd be able to give us that functionality. I can imagine it isn't used all that much, but I myself use the addressbar/commandline frequently.
ctrl+arrows don't work up there since they are used to move the focus around in the active view; then with Ctrl+Enter (or other combinations) you can insert the hilighted file in the addressbar (e.g. when compiling a command)

I see that Ctrl-Up and Ctrl-Down do move the focus in the active pane, but Ctrl-Left an Ctrl-Right are unused.
Couldn't you map these to do the trick (no need for the ctrl-up and -down, they do a fine job in the active pane)
