Drag & Drop photos within a folder

Please advise whether it is possible to drag & drop photos, inside a folder. e.g. I have photos named A B C D but I want to changed their order to A D C B so I can copy files, to a flash drive to look at them on the TV in the sequence I want.

you cannot permanently change the order of items 'manually' like that. The only possibility if you don't mind changing the names, is to rename them adding a 0_ 1_ ... and so on to reflect the desired order
