Um... just a short question. Why is the Ultimate version available for download?

It's not like people actually need to see what portable means. Some may ask themselves why even bother buying pro or ultimate if the ultimate version is already available, and since it is advertised as "without touching the windows registry", I'm either missing something or there's some kind of voodoo-protection involved.

I do not know much about the old portable version, but what I do know about the ultimate portable version is that the trial can be easily reset anytime, so why would you make it available for download?

I'm sure you would agree to the fact that at least casual users are not as comfortable playing with the registry as they'd be playing with an .ini file.

Either way, it still doesn't make much sense to give the possibility to download the ultimate version when its main distinct feature is just portability.

Sorry, but English is not my mother language...
* [P] double click on a dock pane's titlebar to make it float (toggle).
Where should I click on? (a screenshot would be nice)

"Dockable" pane have 2 lines of little dots in the titlebar between the text and the X to close the "pane". Double click anywhere in the text or the dots.

Thanks, I had "View -> Toolbars -> Lock Dock Sites" checked, so I couldn't test this function

Regarding "silliness of Windows 8 removing the start button"...I guess you will need to make a Metro version of xplorer2!!!!

  8)
