I'll agree with you there - except that Gaelic is not actually what you would call a "living" language anymore, regardless of the vociferous cries of the few who still speak it in their mud-huts in the Gaeltacht.

Besides, considering that (apparently) Ireland has the highest cocaine use in Europe these days, language goes out the window when you're cooked.  We have bigger problems than the mere death of a culture.    Beware the Westerly winds bringing doom unto thee.

How do you pay all that cocaine? You don't even have export.

Wait, you mean in Germany you actually pay for your cocaine?  What a strange concept.

We export voluminous amounts of beef (laced, these days, with equine DNA from Poland).  That and young-people fleeing what they perceive as poverty.

Ah, the innocence.    Everyone should experience being lucid for 72-hours straight at least once in their lives.  It's kind of like drinking yourself sober - just "different".  And, as the 1980's have proved beyond all doubt, it leads to some terrible concepts for followers of fashion.  I thought all you continental-types were progressive thinkers who embraced things like Zurich's once-upon-a-time Platzspitz, no?  Where has all the liberal-thought gone to die?

It is less innocence than lower-class poverty.

As if that's enough to stop the adventure of life.  When Dylan warbled "When you ain't got nothin', you got nothin' to lose" he was speaking directly to you and yours.  <Sigh>  Another wasted generation.  How ever did you lads cause such a stir 1500 years ago?  You seem to have lost your mojo.

Dylan never had a problem to pay his drug bills, right?

I was rather hoping you could tell me.  All I got was a handful of coke and splitting headache from my youth.  You appear to be wasting yours complaining about economics holding you back.  Is that any way to conquer the walls of the citadel - or do not men dream of such things any longer, alas?

I can't fight economy on my own. I wish I could!
Today's youth is wasted. They are no help for us anymore.

I'm sorry. I got very excited when I saw all the old lyrics. It's not my fault.

And to stay on topic, I like Explorer2.
