Keep progress window after deletion keeps checking

Every time I restart xplorer2 the check box: "Keep progress window open after the end of deletion" re-checks itself.
I uncheck it, close and reopen and there it is, checked again.
Is there a registry edit I can make to make this permanent?

Hmm I played with the setting in the first thing to look for and it for some reason is also not saving. If I untick that check box and close and open xplorer2 it's checked again :/
This also does not make a difference to the deletion dialog. I have also tried the manual save to no avail.

where are you saving the program settings, in the registry or INI file?

It's set to save into the registry, however I cannot change it.

Are you actually deleting something after you uncheck the box, or just closing the window? The setting won't "stick" unless a delete operation is actually performed and completed. (Same applies to copy/move dialogs, etc.)

I am successfully completing the deletion process, by actually deleting a file.

are you using a non-default layout? Try opening a window from the default layout (WINDOW menu), use robust delete from it then quit xplorer2 and see if it helps
