While I'm not an iPhone user (in Germany, Apple's TV ads literally say "if you don't have an iPhone, you don't have an iPhone", and probably this should make me want to have one, but I don't have an iPhone), I'm confident that browsing iPhones is only possible through iTunes.

yeah, I've read about the itune bit but I wonder if any device appears under MyComputer when the iphone is connected?
