x2: disable rename editor on mouse click?

Is there a way to disable the "rename on click & hold" feature in the listview of x2? I just want to rename files using F2 or the menu. Currently the rename editor pops up whenever I don't need it.

i couldn't find an easy way to disable it compatible with all the modes in x2. It's an open issue, but don't hold your breath!

PS a safe way to avoid this is to click on the icon (or anyplace else) instead of the name

I'd just like to say that I would really appreciate this too...

I never double click to rename - F2 is much easier - so it just getsin the way...

Come to think about it... I know a little bit about Listviews in Windows and I know you can disable the automatic label editing using one of the properties, but then you would have to re-enable it (temporarily) manually once a user hits F2 or the menu item for rename - I'm not sure if this is possible... But I would very much appreciate it

(almost) nothing is impossible; it all boils down how much effort one is prepared to devote to a matter, according to its assumed importance

but I think I know an easy way to turn it off, we'll see!
