first of all: I wish you and all contributors to new xplorer2 a Happy New Year.
I've just upgraded and successfully fetched my new license key. I'm glad to be confronted with the new optional ribbon. I'm belonging to the group of people who like ribbons
But I've some advices. I miss buttons for Drive (Alt-F1), Force (Ctrl-I) and Mirror (Ctrl-M) which should be found in Home tab/Browse section. The behavior of Favorites button should be modified to operate like the Copy button: tapping the star should immediately force the first defined bookmark.

Regarding the new 3.0 licensing agreement, I see that a Pro Lifetime License has this qualifier 'Seat: 1'.
Can you explain exactly what 'Seat: 1' means with respect to the Pro Lifetime license?

OK I've found Mirror button - but I think it wold be better to place it together with Force button into Browse section. But I'm really missing the Drive button. OK you can use the drivebar but it needs more space than a simple button inside the ribbon.
Please consider to change the mentioned behavior of Favorites button too. Most time I want to go to one place - e.g. my home directory. If this is the first bookmark only one mouse click would lead me to this.
But never the less let me thank you for this new version of Xplorer. Great job.

I downloaded the upgrade to version 3, and everything worked fine. The only problem is that I am being asked to pay for the upgrade. I purchased this software with lifetime support so I thought I would not have to pay. I have sent two emails to the xplorer2 support team but these have not even been acknowledged. Is there anyone who has had a similar experience, and can advise me on the best strategy? Could I revert to version2?

A lifetime license does mean you don't have to pay for upgrades, however, a distinction is made between "Pro" licenses (which is most likely what you have), and the "Ult"-version license. These are not interchangeable, and if you have a lifetime Pro license and installed the Ult version by mistake, that may account for the payment request.

Just download the one marked "Professional" from the main website (version 3) and install it, after first uninstalling the Ult-version (if it installed to a different location), and you'll probably find your license will be accepted as expected.

If still in doubt, send nikos a PM or direct email, and he'll sort it out (generally he's on top of these things, but being a one-man show, he can be slow on the uptake from time to time - either that or those Mafia-loans finally caught up with him...)

I always respond to support emails but some times your email junk filter stops you getting my responses. At any rate if you have a lifetime cover please insert your old key in this page to get a free replacement

"A replacement license key for reference X2.1-694C8B30 has already been issued!
You cannot claim your upgrade token more than once; please use the key sent to you by email earlier."

I assume that your emails wrongly classified as spam by my Windows Live Mail system will be stored in the junk mail folder. Until this issue is resolved, I'll monitor the contents of the junk mail folder carefully.

I'm not sure what you mean "posted your key" you just paste it in the upgrade page above and you get a new one. It's self service

You cannot claim your upgrade token more than once; please use the key sent to you by email earlier."

Hello Nikos, I found the registration key in my junk mail box. It was in a reply to one of my emails. You were correct - your emails are being wrongly identified as scam by my email system. I used the code which I found, and the upgrade was successful. Thanks for your help in resolving this issue.
