Mini scrap bug

Hi,

I have a strange bug when I try to create a link in the miniscrap of "special" windows folders like "My documents", "Desctop", ect.. When I drag and drop one of thus into the mini scrap they appear there as non functioning "untitled" documents as can be seen on the image provided.
This is something new as previously I was able to create the "Downloads" link (Загрузки in Russian) without problem as can be seen in the miniscrap. I tried to close and reopen the program to no avail.

it works for me!? Where did you get these icons from originally?
are you running xplorer2 normally or elevated? (forced administrator)

You are right. It works perfectly in elevated mode. Sorry, did not thinked about that.

i was trying to say the opposite
usually things go foobar if you are elevated. It should work in "normal" mode!?

I am afraid this is the opposite in my case. A proof video atached.
I am on Win7 sp1 x64 with the latest version of xplorer x64.

there are some items in the root user folder that are very weird. On my win7 you cannot open them or even drag them. But if you get the same folders from another location e.g. from the desktop or my computer, it should work

In the video I was just trying to move the "Desktop" folder, I know that it's a "special" folder for Windows (even that for 99% of users it's just C:/Users/user/Desktop). Don't know if it is a part of the "weird" folders that you are talking about.

if you browse "C:/Users/user" with hidden files OFF, you will see that all these items are invisible.
to access your desktop quickly just press CTRL+BACKSPACE
