Can't run as administrator

I'm running xplorer2 on Windows 7. Until this morning I was able to run the program as administrator (e.g., using the menu item Window | Administrator). However, I suddenly can't do it anymore, because the Administrator menu item is grayed out. Any ideas why this would happen and how to fix it?

perhaps you are already running as admin? Look out for a * in the titlebar, this says you are admin

Weird. I can't answer your question with certainty, because this morning, after a good night's sleep, I launched xplorer2 and the administrator menu item was no longer grayed out. No idea why my computer does things like this to me. However, I don't think I was running as administrator when I posted about the problem, because I wasn't able to do tasks that required that option to be selected. But in any case, thanks very much for your response. I didn't know about the *, and now I do.
