I'm using x2 v2.5.0.4. These two robust functions work perfectly in Win 7 but Win 10 refuses them.
I am however able to copy and paste from one pane to the other.
Is there some Windows tweak I can implement that will allow me to use the Copy and Move To functions please?

Most strange! It appears to be working now. I will get back to you if it happens again Nikos.

Re: Copy To / Move To not working in Win 10
So it is not working again as I thought. In fact, the problem appears to be limited to one specific external drive. I can't even create a new folder on it. Windows just gives a warning sound and refuses the creation of a folder.
The drive's security permissions are set to full control for ALL types of user. If I try to create a new folder using Windows Explorer it works. It seems Win 10 has a problem with x2. As a reminder, I'm using v2.5.0.4 and I appreciate that was released prior to Win 10 so maybe I'm expecting too much for it to work perfectly?

Re: Copy To / Move To not working in Win 10
What I have noticed recently with robust copy from opctical discs to HDDs is that progress bar seems to desyncronized.
It is like it is not getting right the total amount of data to be copied and, because of that, when it's really about to end the transfer, progress bar is still at 50% or so.
The files were copied correctly, but the progress bar has made me think many times that something was wrong because of that mismatch.

Hi! I have updated to the latest x2 and this continues with network drives. I am going to try it tomorrow with optical media, I will let you know.

the progress bar can get out of shape when you have special overwrite options, e.g. overwrite if newer else skip

Re: Copy To / Move To not working in Win 10
I'm not using other thing but "simple" robust copy.
IMHO, this has to do with the time that x2 takes to sum al the files and its total size. Maybe it should add all first, then start the transfer.
It works, but that lag in progress bar could lead the user to flase mistakes, as you think something has gone wrong during the transfer because it was about at 75% and then suddenly ended. Then, you check the files and all of them are at destination.
By the way, could you please add a refresh button in folder statistics windows? It would be so useful when ordering files.
