I did a search but didn't find anything on this. When I switch from details view to thumbnail view, the thumbnails extend beyond the edge of the windows, making me scroll right & left to see them all.
I realize the problem is, when I'm in detail view, I have enough columns that a scroll bar is necessary to access the various columns, so when I switch to thumbnail it's just maintaining the width based on those columns. But what I am looking for is a way to force the thumbnails to be constrained inside the width of the current window, regardless of what the columns were set to in detail mode.
Is that possible?
Thanks!
Paul

Re: Force thumbnails to fit current window?
the reason for this is your setting "show column header in all views". If you turn this option off, you will see thumbnails properly
ps I will see if this can be adjusted automatically but it could affect things when you go back to details
