Tile horizontally

Hi everyone,

I have been questioning myself for quite a few time why when I activate "View\Tile Horizontally", panels are presented vertically, and when I deactivate it they are presented horizontally? It does no make much sense for me, since I understand it the oposite way.

Clearly I must being misundertanding something but, could someone clarify it?

if each pane is a tile, horizontal means left/right, which is what the menu command does, at Christmas or any time of the year
