Clear history when exit?

How can I clear history when exit?
The history are:path history,search history,replace history...
Where the option can let me do this?

I want to save setting && clear all history on exit.
Can let Setting the history depth to 0??
The setting must save,but the view history is useful and let program slow.

the minimum setting for history items is 2, but that will also affect how many items you see while the program is running. The decision is yours!

2.clear all history on exit.

ps. you can setup a macro that browses C:\ 30 times then calls the program exit command. Effectively this will flush the history (fill it with C:) my bad, this isn't going to work

I had deleted the history from x2settings.ini before.....

my recommendation is to use CLEAR HISTORY button from settings (did you read the blog article mentioned above?) then untick "save settings on exit". Note that many settings are saved even when you "don't save settings", e.g. if you change any bookmarks or other global attributes, these are always saved

2 is the minimum you can have
the extra items appearing in some boxes consider default filters (the dialog you show), or bookmarks in the addressbar
