Upgrading from v2 to v4

Currently using v2.5.0.4 and have decided to upgrade to v4.2.0.1 to see if it solves BSOD's when moving large files between 2 external drives.

I would like to retain all my settings, bookmarks, and user commands. Is that possible, and can I install v4 over the top of the existing program or must I uninstall v2 first?

you don't need to uninstall but first take a backup of your settings for v2.5 as explained here, in case you decide to go back:
