Here is a list of countries I am considering, which can cater for English-speaking students without any knowledge of the local language.
Don't underestimate Germany. In recent years, German universities have started to teach, use and encourage a language that is not understood by speakers of German, English and other languages.

what was odd with German universities (eg TUM) was offering "english" courses that also required german for few of the subjects... division by zero or what? :)

Once upon a time the two pillars of education were foundations in Greek and Latin. She's already got the Greek part down, so if we bring back Latin we can all get t-shirts that say Ecclesia Militans FTW, which the European Auto-da-fé Tour-dates scribbled in blood on the back. Classical education rocks.

I mean, she's already read Homer in the original, of course, no? What else could she possibly need? GCSE me arse! (If your grandfather was cosmopolitan, what do you think going to school in Bally-go-backwards will do for her outlook?)

"Πάς μή Έλλην βάρβαρος"
or otherwise, all history and no present :)
