I wrote a little update to this shell handler checking tool, where it actually checks if the registered and professed DLL exists -- it will show some question marks

I made a GUI version of this tool for those that aren't comfortable with DOS console

Re: blog: check your shell extensions per file type
With the CHKSHXT tool I checked wether a preview handler for .MSG ( Outlook email)
was installed for my Windows 10. The reaction was negative!
Searching on internet
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/outlo ... e-explorer
gave an answer and the text is:
This issue occurs when you have the 64-bit version of Microsoft Outlook installed. The Windows preview host requires a 32-bit application previewer. When 32-bit Outlook is installed, it acts as the previewer. Without 32-bit Outlook installed, there is no previewer available for .msg files.
Would there be a generous Wizkid in software to solve the lack of preview .MSG files in xplorer2?

I don't think this article is relevant to xplorer2
what did CHKSHXT say for .MSG? You need a 64 bit preview handler for xplorer2
these previews would show in the NATIVE preview tab in xplorer2
