Many thanks for you insights and suggestions in using ebook info and PDF Property extension.
I have a rather old xplorer2 from WinXP times - an OS I used well after its End of Life. I hold currently also Total Commander, so I tried the two files (the utility plus, the wls plugin). My OS Win 10 now is in Italian. I do not know if this makes a difference. However under standard OS "Title" and "Authors" labels I can see both epubs and pdfs. I do not see the doubling effect, with Title.eBookInfo and Author.eBookInfo labels you mention in the blog. So no need it seems to use programming and the ultimate x2 version.
