mark on path

Post by rnmerchant »

I'm having problems with the <mark duplicates>-<mark on property>-<folder path> utility.

I am using expert mode. I am searching for e-books. I get a number of results including in my downloads directory.

I use <folder path> to try to mark those found items in my downloads folder. It looks to me that I've entered this correctly. However the process ends up with a "no matching paths" result.

Attached image shows my search.

Given how well these Zabkat programs work I believe I must be doing something wrong. Again!!!

backslashes in the path are considered regular expression markers, so try entering TWO slashes instead \\ to escape
btw have you tried the book similarity scan? www.zabkat.com/blog/find-duplicate-books-by-content.htm

Thanks Nikos: that works. Albeit not intuitively - mind you I am not a programmer so nothing is intuitive to me.

I'll try the similarity scan next though this current one seems to work for me.
