How do I turn this off? If I go into the Windows folder and start typing SYSTEM32 by the time I hit the letter T, the focus has moved to the quick search box (which may be in filter, search or select mode) and I don't like that. I want to type SYSTEM32 and have the highlighted folder/row be moved to the SYSTEM32 folder, not up into the search/filter/select textbox. Also note that once my focus has moved to that search textbox up top and I have typed all of the name SYSTEM32, the only mode that actually works and takes me to or shows me the system32 folder is filter mode. If it's in select or search mode it doesn't take me to the system32 folder so it's not much help.
Thank you. I searched for an option to change this setting, but this app has so many features and options sometimes it's hard to find what you're looking for. I even searched the online manual for a solution. X2 has so many features that even after decades of using it [almost daily] I am still finding new features that I can use.
A few options were moved from advanced (external) into regular, available from TOOLS > OPTIONS menu, e.g. "Filter jump" that controls when focus moves automatically to the quick filter/search box, control of caption error messages and a few others. People that have problems with native preview tab should tick "External native preview" option (also made internal).
