How to slow down the copy speed between two hard disks?

Post by CrossX »

In case I have, for example, to copy one 2 TB disk on another clean disk, is there a way using xplorer2 to slow down this copy not to stress the hardware?
In other words to limit the throughput

you can, use TOOLS > ADVANCED OPTIONS menu and find the option "copy forced delay" and set it to 100 or something. Or bigger if you want to slow things down more

Would it be possible, if it's not too problematic, to add a slider inside the copy/move window so one can easily enter a copying speed?

Just like FastCopy does (see images)
