Just an inquiry on a possible integration.
With many ebooks, in epub and pdf format, I was particularly interested in your blog post "All ebook shell extension pack". The shell lets us see thumbnails and, with SumatraPDF as plugin (if I remember correctly), the ebooks can be previewed as well.
I know that x2 "ultimate" can be made portable. Would it be possible to include the above shell in the portability of x2 as well?
The question arises because I would refrain from "charging" Windows Explorer (and the Win 10 registry) for using thumbnails and previews: I fear in its slowdown. But I would be happy to have such a feature on x2 as a portable version when I need it, leaving registry and win explorer clean of such a feature.

Re: ebook shell as part of x2 portable
all these shell extensions by nature require installation, so they cannot be used in a portable fashion
for portability you can use WDX plugins etc. You can check if there is one that does many ebooks

Re: ebook shell as part of x2 portable
Thank you nikos for the prompt reply. With it, you gave me what I feared.
I asked because I noticed that in some portable versions there is a ".reg" file in the application's portable folder that it is used instead of the registry to keep all self contained. I was thinking - and hoping - of something similar.
