x2: Disable move/copy confirmation dialog?

Post by flexigon »

Is it possible to disable the confirmation dialog boxes for Move/Copy operations?

Additionally a suggestion for these dialogs (for everyone who really wants to use them): They currently show a Yes and No button. Although this makes sense given the question asked, it would be much easier if they showed an OK and Cancel button for then you would be able to use the Esc button to cancel the dialog (and the operation). The Esc button currently has no effect at all on the dialog, which is a bit ackward.

a proper target dialog will be added in the future, with optional path selection

great...
but I prefer to just move or copy files to the location shown in the other panel. Is this possible using a direct hotkey without showing the dialog?

not at present; perhaps drag-drop is a decent substitute

Well, the main reason why I like x2 so much is because it allows me to do pretty much everything with the keyboard. Besides, the current copy/move works fine, if I just could disable that $@#* dialog :-)

Can't you just add a registry option that disables confirmation dialogs?
