As many would suggest that I code from my scenic end o' me arse anyway, it would be fitting to admit that I learnt most of it sitting on the loo reading Dr. Dobb's Journal in my youth. Some kids chose to read comic-books when not in school - I read this nonsense instead. I was a problem-child.
A pity to see it go.
